Veteran's Memorial

Names were gathered by project chairman Gary Williams and other volunteers. Many names were submitted by the families of Jefferson County Veterans.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Rigby Urban Renewal Agency and others were integral in the planning, design and funding of the memorial. The project was paid for with private donations, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Rigby Urban Renewal Agency. The total cost came to nearly $100,000.

Maintenance of the memorial is made possible by a Jefferson County tax levy that 72 percent of voters approved in 2008.
